Has anyone noticed a decline in beverage quality here? Last year I drank strictly Max beer, I seriously think it's a decent beer and not just the best of the worst. However, this year I noticed that I was getting a sort of funk or something at the bottom of every bottle or can I drank. The taste/feeling of it reminds me of drinking from a Brita pitcher that hasn't had the filter changed in a looooooong long time. Now I've begun to notice the same thing in bottled water I purchase as well.

So, has the KFDA lowered it's standards on water purity recently? Are the chaebol's selling us Fukushima water they bought at deadly discount prices?

Seriously nasty stuff. It makes my tongue feel fuzzy and I want to gag.

I'm considering some way to distill my own water at home or going back to using a Brita filter like I did in the US. But, I also heard a bit of scary stuff about the plastics used to make the Brita stuff.

First of all; never drink distilled water. It's actually too pure for you and can leech minerals from your system.

Second; although Hite/OB are crappy breweries, I can pretty much guaranteee you that any brewery that size is actually running their water through reverse osmosis and then adding minerals back in. Maybe Hite/OB are ROing their water and using the same water for their bottled water products? I dunno.

So the water quality is decreasing? Is it time to go back to drinking Max beer?

What does that have to do with bottled water?

Most likely some kind of dregs from the beer.

Yea really. Guys drinks a skunky beer and assumes the bottle water supply must be contaminated.

I think someone has been drinking and posting again. Its ok, I do it sometimes too.
