| Some states like Florida allow apostille for FBI check, so you can do it in your own state. State like Texas doesn't allow it. Once you get the apostille Korean Immigration will accept it. |

So does anyone have any first-hand accounts of problems with US Authentication? Not "I found this post on a random internet site..." so we can look at the rest of the post history of the complainant.
I haven't tried the company, and can't endorse them personally, but just because someone works out of their home, it doesn't mean they're unreliable. In fact, it's probably why they can charge $45 for their service instead of the crazy $100+ amounts.
Store front vs house is the same psychology that gets people to pay 50% more for absolutely identical products when one is brand name and one is generic. I've got that same hang-up too , which is why I'd like to find out if there are any US Authentication horror stories from Dave's posters before I send things off. |

Since it has been nearly two years since any new replies on this thread, I thought I would let you know my experience with USLegalization.com.
Overall, I was satisfied with the service. The cost was $45 per document. I chose to use USPS Priority mail since I wasn't in a super hurry for the documents. They received the documents on a Friday and sent me an email stating:

US Legalization will drop your 2 documents at the authentication office of the U.S. Department of State on Monday, August 12 , at 8:00 AM and will pick it up on Wednesday, August 14 at 9:00 AM.
We anticipate that we will complete your documents legalization on Wednesday, August 14 and mail them to you on the next business day. We will send you an email when your documents have been sent. |
They actually did not mail by documents back until Thursday (which they also sent me an email). That would be my only complaint.
Also, a word of warning when using USPS Priority Mail. Make sure that you have the tracking number for your return envelope when you send it off. Priority Mail comes with a tracking number, but it is not generated unless the sender goes into the post office and sends you the tracking number on the receipt. US Legalization will not do this because they just drop it in the box. I did not realize this until after I sent it off, and I was really stressed out when a week had passed since US Legalization mailed the envelope and I still did not receive it. Turns out the postman delivered it to my neighbor.
Hope this helps! |

| If you look up US Legalization on Yelp, they received some not so flattering comments, however. One of my friends just got their FBI CBC apostille through US Legalization and she said it was good. Regardless, I am still hesitant due to the fact that they are operated at a house rather then a business front. |
