Hi everyone, has anyone heard about Wannabe Readers School located at the Nowon gu stop in Junggye-dong, Seoul. Any experiences in the area or with the school would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

I'm curious about this as well!
I just got offered a position here but am hesitant to take it.
1. It's a bit too far north for me. I'd rather be more central
2. They do not cover much of the medical costs. If it's not related to the school, the will not cover you. |

Never heard of them, but who the heck chose that name? Worst name I've heard since Toss English. |

I guess the students have a strong desire to be English speakers, although somewhat perpetually beneath the task. I wouldn't want to list the school on a CV, might not sound good. |

I worked there Feb 2013 to March 2014. I liked the place a lot, lovely owner, lots of respect, not a homework mill, paid on time and most issues handled well. Just check if they want you for library work or teaching. |

You registered on this site for the sole purpose of posting that review of the place? |

I never understood why they chose that name. Is there some sort of Konglish origin to the word "toss"?
Here's another odd place.

Or how about THIS place?

I remember once seeing a hogwon bus that had something like "speaking, reading, listening, grammer" in huge letters on the advertisement it was displaying. |

Yes, I did register for that purpose. Had a great time with the boss K and the other teachers. Figured I owed it to them to give a positive review. |
