This is government program for support English education in remote area in Korea.
We are looking for Video teachers for these hour:
1 elementary school:
Mon 09:15-9:35, 11:05-11:25 , 12:00-12:20
Tue 10:10-10:30, 12:00-12:20, 12:45-12:05
2 elementary school
Tue: 10:40-11:00, 11:30-11:50
Wed 09:00-09:20, 09:50-10:10, 10:40-11:00, 11:30-11:50
3 elementary school:
Friday
"9:10-9:50, 10:00-10:40, 10:50-11:30, "
4 Middle school:
Mon, Wed, Fri
PM 2:10-2:30
3:10-3:30
3:40-4:00
5 Middle school:
Mon, Wed, Fri
PM 5:00-6:00
6 Middle school:
Fri
PM 7:00-7:40, 8:00-8:40
and a lot more schools in similar time range.
you can let me know which day and time range, you prefer.
****It's a year program until feb 2015.
You can't quit during at least one semester(until July 2014), this is not 1:1 private teaching, this is for Public school for about 10 students in class.
Payment:
9$ (10000won) for 20mins class.
16$ (18000won) for 40mins class.
(If you are in abroad, It will be paid by paypal)
You got to have:
- Fast Internet without cutting ( put the cable, not the wifi) .
- Good computer. (If your computer doesn't work sometimes by over heat or another reason, that's not suitable to this job)
- Headset and Webcam.
- White or tidy background on video screen.
- Punctuality (If you late more than 3mins or miss the class, there is penalty.)
- ESL, EFL Teaching experience.
- Bachelor degree.
- Native english speaking country nationality: UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland only.

I usually sign up for job ads that talk about mysterious penalties and say that I can't quit for AT LEAST a semester, but I'm gonna have to hold off on this one.

Has anyone actually worked for Connection Korea? Any fun stories or scars from your "penalties?"
