What a loser. The US military needs to start implementing higher standards.

In Hongdae the same night there was some running brawl between waegooks and some korean punks (literal punks, spiked mohicans, leather jackets, all that). It was on the street where Matmata is but spilled out onto the the next street (near Gold Bar).
No idea what it was about, must have been something in the air that night.

Sounds like the U.S. military has gone into full damage control mode.

(I guess in fairness I should add that the foreigners I saw fighting looked like their hair was too long to be in the military)

So basically.....GI's stabbed a Korean man however......

The U.S. are pulling 4000 troops out.

I think also the South Korean government will be playing this down to prevent further troop withdrawals. Therte won't be a repeat of 2 years ago.

I think the guys involved must be either new to Korea or just went too wild one night. Thing is, I met plenty of American service personnel in Korea who were well-behaved and appreciated Korea far more than other foreigners who CHOSE to come to Korea.

Yeah, there are retarded trailer trash types who get into the Army but I'd say I met just as many level-headed GIs. Basically, if you have half a brain, you can tell which GIs to talk to and which ones to stay at least 100 feet away from.
