I had a job lined up with an International School in China and they canceled on me. I'm currently in the process of looking at other schools. I remembered hearing about EPIK from people who taught with the organization when I was teaching in South Korea last year. I just went to their Facebook page and it states that they are still taking applications.

I know that they get a lot of applicants. My goal is to send them my complete packet by 4/14 or 4/15. I'm getting my headshot done on Monday, so I can't send them my packet without a professional photo of myself.

My background:

*Taught for 2-years at an academy in South Korea
*Teaching degree (regular and special education)
*Elementary Education Content knowledge Certificate

Thanks.

There is a whole wide world out there. One ought not just limit themselves to EPIK (it isn't even that great of a job in the first place)

+1 for what GENO123 said.

EPIK is great for the likes of me with no formal teaching qualifications, but if you're a real teacher you can get waayyyyy better teaching jobs than in Korean public schools. Even on Footprints you can get teaching jobs in Hong Kong that will pay more than double what you'd earn on EPIK (plus you get to live in HK), and there are international schools all over the world that would snap you up, give you a wonderful job and pay you very well.

If you're adamant about Korea and EPIK, you're probably too late so I'd aim to apply directly to the MOEs when they start asking in a few weeks. The deadline for EPIK was last Monday, so they'll probably have everyone they want by now.

Thanks for the reply. Last Monday was for people who go with an outside agency. An outside agency has to have the application process done sooner. If you apply directly with EPIK the deadline is later. I just wanted to make that clear.

I will look at all the avenues out there. Thank you for your help and suggestions.
