I went to the mainland and bought a hotdog at Costco. I swear they have gotten smaller.

And I confess that I made up a plate of onions and mustard. It was pretty good with the chicken bake, which hasn't shrunk in size.......yet.

Are they going to open a Costco in the Jeonam area? Jeollanamdo?
There was talk of opening one up in Suncheon, which is an hour away from Gwangju.

The new Costco in Euijeongbu opened today. Someone posted a video on youtube of a VIP party the day before it opened to the public.

Has anyone heard any rumors about new locations? I've heard that they're considering a location in Pyeongtaek or Anseong but that hasn't been substantiated. Anywhere else?

I keep hearing rumors about Incheon. I know their depot is out there. We live in Bucheon so we have a choice of going north, east or south. Though it is a little more out of the way, I've started going to Gwangmyeong because it has a better selection.

I'm surprised they opened two more stores so quickly after the one in Gwangmyeong and Ulsan.

With the successes Costco has had in Korea odds are that Costco would love to open more stores. Incheon would make sense. The thing is that Costco in Korea must keep plans under wraps after what happened in Seoul with the current Mayor and his stupid "crackdown" on Costco. In many parts of the world towns openly woo Costco.
