Wylde is being his usual obnoxious, entertaining self. Get the spelling right though, Aussie. Wales is a wonderful place from what I've been told. Worked with a Welshman for a bit. Easier to just say Great Britain, no confusion then. Smile

I don't know where exactly where Wales is but i do know that it achieved Political Devolution in 1997 along with Scotland after a close vote at the time (Scotland had a bigger % Margin). Not bad for a Canadian eh? i knew my British History class in univ would come in handy some day.. Laughing

So as we take a look at this poll's numbers and what they all mean, I see Australia is currently tied with New Zealand, at four apiece. I don't know the populations of these two countries, but Australia must have significantly more people. That one surprises me.

At Canada is doubling America, which is an anomaly if you look at the populations of the two countries, but I would guess it's all economics. It's not as good for Americans to work over here when you convert it back.

And it's probably even worse for those poor Europeans and Britons. That Euro is riding too high.

Does it matter? There's a whole lot of trouble caused by nationalism on this board, and while I don't think the OP meant to start anything, somebody inevitably will.

what is wrong with being nationalistic? one should be proud of the country that they come from. That being said, one should not be overzealous to the point that it causes the sometimes the hotly debated topic of Canadians being too patriotic. That's fine if one wants to say that against Canada, if some people are idiots that's life. But one should not paint all Canadians with the same brush.. after all Americans changed the name French Fries to Freedom Fries, and they accuse us of being overpatriotic.. just my opinion, i had to say that because it had to be said. Other than that, i have no problems with anybody no matter what country they are from

So once the 41st and a half person votes, we'll be at 1%.

I'm no sociology student, but that's enough empirical data for me to start making broad unfounded generalizatons about EFL teachers in Korea.
