I've been given a job at Paju English Village Gyeonggi Do. I want some feedback from western teachers (not management) who are working there now or who have done so in the recent past. You can send a private message or a reply-whichever seems best.
What is it like to actually work there? What is morale like among teachers at that school? Is it generally okay, so-so, or are people desperate to escape?
What is the teaching load like? Is there a clear demarcation between work and leisure time?
What is Paju like to live in? What is the accommodation like at the English Village? How does management treat you? Are people usually able to complete their contracts if they are professional? |

They make you stand outside the school in big bear and rabbit costumes and wave hello to the kids and mothers and pass out fliers--you are a true monkey there. |
