Hey Folks,

I was connected with Maple Bear Incheon via People Recruit. I was wondering if anyone had any experience working at the Incheon location or at another Maple Bear school. I understand that most locations are K and Elementary Schools and I have heard mixed things. Such as the curriculum is too advanced for the students, long hours, etc. If anyone has any connections to people working in the school or has any knowledge please reply to my post or email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

Do you know which branch it is? I work at a small hagwon in Songdo in Incheon, and there's a Maple Bear on the floor above my school. I only really know one of their teachers, but he's just re-signed for a second year. If it is the Songdo branch, let me know and I'll ask him for some details.

It is the Songdo branch in Incheon. If you could please ask the teach if he would contact me that would be greatly appreciated! My email is [email protected] and my skype id is zack.block1

From what I hear the school is pretty well run. Could you ask the teacher their opinion about the school? The contract, the apartment situation, the students, curriculum, etc.

Thanks for your help!

Let me guess, and I'm really going out on a limb here, "Maple Bear" is a Canadian hogwan, right?

What a dumb name for a school.

"Jackson 5" is another dumb name on the Taiwan job forums, also probably an EFL crime committed by Canadians.

Who goes to these schools? I'd never go to a school called "Jackson 5 English" or "Maple Bear". Nor would I send my kids there, if I had them.
