Hi everyone,

I was just offered a job at a YBM LIA school in Seocho. I've been reading some very mixed things regarding YBM schools and was just hoping for some more feedback. I haven't heard much about the LIA schools, just the other ones that are out there.

Mostly looking for info on the intensives and the vacation (they say they only provide 7 paid vacation days?? WTF - and I think I read somewhere that they don't provide the vacation days in one block in summer/winter, but sometimes spread them out?)

Any thoughts would be really appreciated.

I recently finished a contract at a Seocho LIA. My advice would be to stay away. They'll pay you on time each month, but you're right about the vacation days being all spread out. I had 5 consecutive days last summer, but this year I think its only 3. The contract says 9 vacation days total but they only give you 7. For the summer and winter intensives you can expect to work 10.5 hour days with no breaks, for little to no extra pay. If its the same place I worked the director is needlessly antagonistic. Its also very disorganized, management doesn't do a good job explaining anything, and they get mad at you for asking questions.

Thanks for the help, it's much appreciated. I did end up passin on it. They sent me the dates for the vacations, and it's just as you said: Thursday and Friday in July, Wednesday to Friday in December. Definitely can't do that!

Thanks again
