Okay, since I've started the new job, every week some kindhearted individual has taken it upon themselves to give me a big plate of ddeok. I really appreciate the gesture, but I really hate the stuff.
I'm looking for creativity here- what can I do with this?
(keep in mind, I DON'T want to offend anyone.) |

Since you have started a new job, did you just get a new home? It is customary to give ddeok to your neighbors when moving in. Giving it all to them and meet the neighbors. |

Maybe that's why people keep thinking it's an appropriate present? |

Most schools place all their employees in the same building, are you suggesting she give away her ammo? |

Yes, because I don't want to see a bunch of white people having ddeok fights. |

It could be, but they should have told her what to do with it. |

It's like Christmas cake- you're not supposed to EAT it, silly!
Just keep it moving like a hot potato!
Seriously, I miss ddok- especially the semi-fluffy cake-like stuff... |
