|

I've been waiting on a refund from a travel agency in Seoul. The funds had to be sent to my Kookmin account, but they weren't due to be processed until about 2 weeks after I was scheduled to leave Korea. I went to KB and asked if the debit card would work in the US, and they assured me that it would. Since returning however, I haven't found an ATM which recognizes the card and my bank here can't process a cash advance. I tried calling the branch in New York but the guy just kept saying "no thank you, I don't know who you are" when I tried to explain the situation. Any ideas on what or where to try next? |

Does your debit card have a "Cirrus" or any other symbol?
I found that my Korean debit card only works in the U.S. during Korean bank operating hours. |
