Worked at a crappy hagwon. Quickly met my replacement before I left. Became friends with them through a mutual friend. Now I feel I should have warned them of what was going on.
Anyone have the same experience. |

Yes, fortunately they replaced me with an F4 visa holder and they quit within 2 months due to lack of payment. After that the school basically closed.
Just keep your fingers crossed the school improves and they enjoy their time more than you. |

Try to be honest and there are those who refuse to listen, especially newbies to Korea. Ask questions of previous teachers and get fed some party line. |

Yeah, just try to be honest but not so much as to scare them off. A co-worker of mine (who was crazy) told me upon arrival that she was going to tell me not to come but was worried the school would find her emails...really glad she didn't as, although teaching had it's ups and downs, the experience I had living in Korea was one I will never forget. |

I met the guy I replaced, similar thing, he warned me. I have my eyes on a friends job for when they leave so I'm sticking it out till then. |

Wouldnt it be common courtesy to inform your replacement about the job?
He should have already talked to you before even accepting the job.
