If my maiden name is on my diploma and transcripts, is it best to pay the $100 (that's what my school charges) to get a new diploma with married name and change transcripts name or will they accept marriage certificate with apostille and notary along with maiden name school docs with apostille and notary?

I'd love to hear what method you used and if it was successful. Thanks!

A notarised and apostilled marriage certificate will cover it, as my university didn't allow me to change the name on my certificate etc. Either will be fine, so just do whatever is cheapest.

The marriage cert does NOT need to be notarized or apostilled.
It will suffice to show the change of name. You don't need to get a new parchment and transcript set.

It will also be needed if you want to obtain an F3 for your spouse.

Thank you all.

He is also applying with me so won't have a spousal visa, since he is also going to teach.

My county allows me to order an apostille version for the same cost, so I will do that.
