1.What is it?

Compared to Caucasians, Asians have relatively short legs and muscled calves. In South Korea, plastic surgeons have mastered the skills to slim down these protruding calves. Since this is one of the most serious cosmetic procedures, it is very important to consult with doctors who specialize in calf reduction surgery.

If you are looking for a permanent solution, your surgeon will recommend partial muscle resection surgery known as Korea’s calf reduction surgery.
During the procedure, your surgeon will remove or burn up to 60% of the muscle in your calves, which has been proven to be the safe and ideal ratio for the slimming of the legs.

Shocked

Calf reduction...huh...I didn't know that was a thing.
That makes two of us. But apparently, "In South Korea, plastic surgeons have mastered (or invented) the skills of calf reduction surgery to slim down these protruding calves."

Otherwise known as strong, healthy calves... which I actually like on girls! (in moderation... of course!)

Here they call those calves "Moo-dari" ... aka "raddish legs". Don't use that in your pick up line though, it's more of an insult than a compliment. Smile

Ya think? Cool

I have heard of calf implants, but calf reduction? And cutting out muscle??? Wow! I am not even totally on board with those operations that cut out fat - it just seems unnatural.
