This guy is an esl god. There's simply no way any of us can compete with his awesomeness. He's the whole package. Looks, charisma, presentation. Very Happy

A teacher like this only come around once in a generation.

Prepare to be humbled.

That guy's hilarious. I've actually had co-teachers in Korea every bit as effeminate and odd as him. He has a whole series of videos on youtube, for all the elementary school classes I think. At least he appears to enjoy what he's doing. But he comes across as a Korean version of that American guy with the exaggerated nose. (You know the one who escaped from his cage a few years back.)

The guy's altogether too enthusiastic about his job. You couldn't pay me enough to video myself acting like that and post it on youtube.

To each their own I guess.

How much would you have to be paid to act like that? As in it is in your contract that you must act and dance like that. I wouldn't take anything lower than 5 mill a month.

It's The Ajossi!

I had a CT a couple of years ago who would have one of these videos for every chapter of the grade 3 textbook (YBM-Sisa), and whenever we did a song the kids would start shouting out 'Ajossi! Ajossi!' and she'd put this guy's video on

I must say, he's actually really upped his game since then! If I met him I'd shake his hand

Actually I think I met this guy at orientation one year. He was a really nice guy.

I don't think his enthusiasm is shameful at all. He is teaching to elementary school students. Whenever I played his videos my kids would learn the songs (and materials) pretty quickly.

Glad to see that all those countless hours as a first year undergrad spent skipping classes and working on mind-numbing cheerleading routines are paying off.

I had a co-teacher like that before. I told him the class seemed like a dance class, not an English class - the kids were trying to memorize his dance and never learned the songs.

I had to quit that job because I couldn't respect myself teaching there.
