So I just got back from the Philippines. I've been there six times over the last five or so years. Something I noticed the last few times is the high number of Korean men who travel there to get down to some serious boom boom action behind their ajumah's back. Now before you go pressing the "post response" button and say something like, "Western men created that place and if it wasn't for all those horny old bastards looking for a an eighteen year old....." and blah blah blah, just wait and read a second to the point I'm trying to make.
There is ample prostitution available here in Korea, no doubt about it. There are at least ten Europeans, Americans, Australians, etc. to outnumber every Korean man looking for some action down there. BUT, why I find it so strange that Korean men between the age of 35 to 50 are starting to show up all over the place down there is as follows: Do you know how hard it is to get time off work in Korea, let alone for a vacation? Also, how many Korean men at that age do you know are single? Also, with their phobia of foreign disease, how is it possible that they go down there and do their thing without worrying about bringing it back home to oma?
It's curious. I sat in a bar one night and I saw about ten or fifteen Korean men all about forty years old living it up with the local girls and I thought, "how'd they sneak off here in the first place? How'd they justify it with their wives (I mean most Koreans get two weeks off a year and damned sure that time is already booked six months in advance for a vacation with the whole clan involved, not a solo excursion to fantasy land), how'd they ever explain it if they brought home some ghonorehia?"
I don't know, just seemed strange to me. In fact some bars down there are catering to those guys now. Have the girls dressed up like Showking dancers and play Korean music and in fact Asiana Airlines has a direct flight to the strip I'm talking about from Seoul now. Just seems strange. i know the Koreans guys here have to make a big long production to hide going to 588 or Miari from their wives, but actually leaving the country for a few days and going down there seems like too much to simply say, "honey I've got a seminar in Manilla next week."
By the way, the girls down there charge the Koreans three times the price they charge other foreigners. Go figure. |

and if anyone is getting STDS and bringing it to korea!!! its the koreans themselves!! just they will blame Americans for that!!
they are ones who flock to the thailand and Pi and dont use rubbers!!! |

Judging by the number of ajumas who were clearly MBA ( married but available) at my last gig, I'd think the wives would blame their lovers. |

Last time I was in the Philippines, I sat in a girly bar and noticed an old 50 year old American in there sipping beer and ogling exotic dancers with a 3-year old child on the bar stool beside him!! He was watching girls dance with his father... |

I think Thailand and Cambodia are becoming the Korean male hotspots. just wait for the HIV rate to rise (if it already isn't as it might be being midiagnosed).
