|
|
Which diploma needs to be notarized and apostilled? The Bachelors or the masters? This would be for a university E-2 position (hopefully)?
Does the notarized and apostille have to come from the same state as the university?
There seem to be two kinds of notarization in America depending on the state. In some states, the notary verifies that a document is an original, in other states the notary makes a copy of the document and verifies that the copy is a “true copy”. Does it matter which kind of notary is done for the notarized apostilled diploma?
Thank you |

For immigration purposes the undergrad (bachelors) needs the certified true copy and have an apostille affixed to said copy.
The process varies from state to state but usually no. The apostille authenticates the "true copy and notary". The apostille has to be done in the same state as the notary and notarization.
