It seems like Hite Pale Lager is replacing the classic Hite. Take A look at their website http://english.hitejinro.com/Bran/Beer/bran_beer_hite.asp Personally I think it is a step up. I Enjoy all of Hites beers, particularly the new Queen's Ale.

There is so much wrong with these two sentences, I don't know where to begin.

As far is it being a step up, the only thing I can think of is of a fire that takes out an abandoned building in Detroit and causes $50,000 worth of improvements.

You know Hite is Korean, not American?

Yes. Fine, I'll change the line- A trash dumping on a Seoul city street that improves its appearance.

I noticed it last Saturday at the LotteMart at Jamsil station. I thought it was just a new wrapper, and didn't realize it's a new beer altogether. I haven't had a beer in months since I've been trying to save as much money as possible, but I'm going to break the piggy bank and buy a bottle of the new Hite this weekend. I'm with you on Hite and the Queen's Ale. Definitely underrated and underappreciated beers.

If that is supposed to be a new beer, then they did something wrong. It tastes the exact same as regular Hite. I think they just put a new shiny wrapper on it to try and pass it off as imported looking.

Didn't notice any diff. in taste. It's nice to know this is still consistent: "Traditional Pale Lager perfected with 80 years of beer brewing know-how Smooth and original taste of beer down the throat with an optimized alcohol percentage, raw materials and techniques." lol
