President Park and I hung out a few weeks ago and had steak together. My girlfriend snapped a picture of the president downing a 40.

No, I won't post the photos here.

HA! That's a hilarious mental image.

I met some famous actors here while I was an extra in some of the commercials they were in. 이민호 was very aloof. That was back in 2009 or so- I haven't seen him on tv these days, but I don't watch Korean tv. He was in a popular drama at the time with some other pretty boys. The commercial was for a snack food he was the spokesperson for- I forgot the name of the brand. I met 이승기- he was really nice and down-to-earth. That was a pizza hut commercial. They closed off the dressing room for him when he arrived so me and the other couple of extras had to sit around on crates in the studio, but that's to be expected. I met 안승기 doing a maxim coffee commercial. I hope I got his name right- that was also back in 2008 or 2009 or so. He's an older actor and super famous. He was really nice, too. I heard he will accept lower pay for acting roles so that the other supporting actors can get a decent cut. I met another (older) lady that's a famous drama actress. It was for a promo video for a product called Nuga Best-she's the spokesperson. She showed-up in a range rover with her personal assistant. She was nice, too. She made a point to ask each of the foreign extras about our lives here in Korea. She was very genuine. I met Daniel Henney when he shot Seducing Mr. Robbin- I was an extra in a party scene. He was cool. He had a room at the W hotel, and he could only really go out on his motorcycle wearing a helmet that totally hid his face, or he'd get mobbed. That was in 2006.
