OK fair enough if the term 'called out' was used as opposed o 'found out' - I'll own that. What I mean is that the OP opened up a thread b/c they were unable to 'get over' a situation and was asking for others to explain his situation to him. Several posters have given logical or reasonable explanations.

Can I ask;

1. What is it you feel needs more clarity (the main point was what I underlined a few posts up) ? Obviously I'd like to be clear about the point I'm making.

2. Given the title of the thread, would that not suggest to you a negative approach towards women on s'thing that is very subjective (due to everyone's different opinion on attractiveness)?

3. Do you not find it problematic to assume I am female + feminist and in their first response, suggest I lose weight?

As several posters have stated, there's nothing wrong what the OP wrote. If you think there is you then need to articulate that clearly and competently, because as of now you have not done that.

Some people just go through life "pre-offended". He likely saw the thread title and decided to post some blather in response, before even reading it. After reading the post and seeing nothing offensive, he still had to post something. Hence, the lack of any point. He wants to be offended, and instinctively feels that he should be offended, but has no material to work with. Hence, the blather.

As for the "lose a few pounds" comment, that goes for Western men here as well. I've commented frequently on this forum about overweight foreigners (not just females). Westerners here be fat.

So, you tell me that it's not quite clear what point I'm trying to make and due to the poor level of English used have not really understood what I was trying to get across. I then ask you what you'd like clarification on (pointing you to previous remarks) so I can make a better job of it (even if you end up disagreeing, I'd rather not be misunderstood). I add a few basic questions to determine which part of the OP you are in agreement with (other than the observation of more attractive women being in cities... which everyone should agree is the case).

And suddenly it's boring? Interesting.

You're always trying to be the crusader on these forums. Well I've got news for you sunshine. Pink isn't well, he stayed back at the hotel and they sent us along as a surrogate band.

Are there any queers in the theater tonight? Put em up against the wall.

Shocker.

Underneath the cosmetic kung-fu, the average woman looks just that, average.

Every year I go for a physical in a big hospital/assembly line. And every year I'm amazed at how average everyone (but me) looks in a housecoat. lol

If you think I'm being ridiculous, feel free to tell me why you disagree with the quote you highlighted. All you've done here is make a snide remark towards me that wasn't really warranted.

Otherwise is it fair to say that you don't like my attitude towards the OP b/c you feel I have no place for such opinions?

Great.
