The issue I have with my eyes is I cant read books/phones etc up close. I can see in the distance fine. Has anyone on here head of or had succesfull surgery just to replace your glasses? Someone said to me this surgery isn't developed yet? Thanks in advance guys! Maybe I have a big decision here!

You're far-sighted. Originally, surgery for that condition was unavailable. But, depending on why you're far-sighted, you may nowadays qualify for surgery.

Make an appointment for a consultation.

I was near-sighted, but I had my LASEK surgery done here http://www.eye1004.co.kr/ - the consultation is free, there are English-speaking doctors, nurses, and support staff, and it was cheaper than the Dream Eye Clinic. Reason being, Dream Eye Clinic bills itself as "foreigner-friendly/English-speaking" so they charge a bit extra. I do remember both places saying it is possible, just uncommon, to do surgery to correct far-sightedness.

The consultation at that clinic and most as I know is always free, so go to as many places as you need to and get as many surgeon's opinions as you need to feel comfortable - these are your eyes we are talking about here Shocked
