Chinese diplomacy at its finest!

I wonder if this will begin Vietnam down the road of letting the US use Cam Rahn Bay.

Your title implies that the chinese committed an act of blatant agression and deliberately sank the craft of another nation.

Thats not quite true now is it sonny?

Rolling Eyes Once again you exaggerate and lie about the facts of a situation in order to draw peoples attention to your threads.

Is Mr Sperling paying you to post inane threads on this site?

Whether deliberate or accidental a Vietnamese boat was sunk by the Chinese.

The same Chinese who have placed a great big oil rig well within Vietnam's EEZ.

The Vietnamese and the Chinese have been fighting off and on for several hundred years.
China has been solidifying and projecting its power in Asia. It is claiming islands/see areas the UN recognizes as non Chinese due to oil or other natural resources. They have spats with Japan, Vietnam, the Philipines and other countries over islands and sea areas that has natural resources. Not sure if anything other than a collective economic/diplomatic boycott can stop them.
Chinese aren't unique in this, decades ago it was America and Europe doing similar things.
