| Korea has a Pita Pit. It's just down from the Jongno 2 ga intersection. The road between that intersection and Cheonggyecheon has it on the left hand side walking towards Cheonggyecheon. Is there a Pagoda hakwon down from that? Anyways, kind of hidden. I was besides myself to find it as I'm visiting Seoul this weekend. Prob the only one in Korea. Yippee!! Glad to see a Canadian business going global. |

| It's been there for years. I didn't know it was Canadian. If there are franchise fees involved, I'm surprised they haven't slightly changed the name by now to avoid the on-going charges, ala BK Subs and Some Big Subs (both Subway ripoffs), O Bar, Ma Bar (both Wa Bar ripoffs), and LCI Kids Club. |

| It was really odd seeing it for the first time. It's a very random franchise to open in Korea. I've eaten there a couple of times and it's pretty much identical. |

| I used to go there when I went to YBM for Korean classes. At lunch time, the drinks are free, and the wraps are generally very good and fairly healthy. |

I went there regularly in 2012/13. The owner told me he was opening a small branch (no seating/take out only,) in HBC. Not sure if he ever did though... |

I remember going to the Pita Pit in Windsor back when I was 19 years old and was hitting the bars. Everyone would get totally smashed then go get some pitas. I specifically remember the patrons beng so rude to the people working behind the counter. People would be yelling to hurry up, swearing at them, people fighting, one guy even grabbed one of the employees hats and was dancing aorund with it.
I felt bad for them that they had to take so much abuse. On the other hand they sure could make a good pita!
Totally off subject but if you ever got drunk and mouthed off to the Mounties you were gonna get your ass kicked. I've seen some smart asses try and mess with them and before they knew it the punk kids were on the ground with the Mounties knee jammed in their neck.
Those guys didn't take any guff from nobody, if they told you to do something, you better do it immediately or you were gonna get a beating! |

There used to be one in Itaewon. It was owned by the same guys who ran RMT. I only went once, it was way too expensive for what you got. Plus, Pharaoh's was still around in those days and they had the best pita in Seoul.
Just looked at their FB, looks like the prices are a lot better now than back in 2007 in the twon. I'll give it a go the next time I'm downtown. |

They could have called the cips over that one. I head of a guy once grabbing a Canadian Tire employee over a higher price for his car and the dude did a year in jail. Grabbing the pita pit employee could have ended badly for the drunk guy. |
