|
|
I'm applying for a visa for Canada and I need to prove my address for the last 12 months at least. A rental agreement would normally do this, but since my housing is provided by my school I haven't signed one. My ARC has my address on it, and I will provide a copy of that, but I'm hoping to get a document that shows my various addresses since I arrived in Korea 6 years ago.
Does such a document exist? If so, what is it called? |

You can get one at the local gu office. I'm not sure the name, but it lists all the information from the back of your ARC (addresses and jobs/visa sponsors if you're on E2), but on government stationery with a stamp and all. Ask your school, maybe, for the name of the document?
I had to get one a few years ago because I wanted a visa for China but everything was written on the back of my ARC in marker and they needed the document cause they wouldn't accept that for the ARC. |

Thanks for your reply. I actually solved this issue yesterday after dialling 1345.
For future reference, the document is called 외국인등록사실증명. |
