I would like to secure a public school teaching position in South Korea beginning no later than October 1st (preferably sooner). It seems like all of the positions are filling up very quickly, but I am having difficulty finding a recruiter that will get back to me in a timely fashion. Any advice or recommendations you can offer is greatly appreciated! |

Your timing is way off. I would be surprised if any recruiter would get back to you at all.
October is in the middle of 2nd term (late Aug - end of Dec). There are unlikely to be many positions available in public schools at that time and you are pretty much too late for an August start in a PS.
The recruitment process for PS positions starting in August is just about completed and NOAs should be sent out in the next 40 days or so.
(The recruitment process and application period began in April with applications closing early May and document submission complete by early June).
Recruitment for PS positions beginning in late February should begin in September.
