I could be mistaken, but it looks like the Soldiers are being sent from outside Seoul. Now unless there is a large reshuffling in the ranks, things should remain about the same. That is, unless the USFK invokes another curfew in light of this past weekends stabbing.

Yes, it sounds like they will send soldiers who are close to the DMZ.

only 4,000? All of them should be redeployed.... Koreans and slacker English teachers would have to defend themselves...

send them away- Iraq can have them. Every ajumma in Seoul will do ana admirable job at blocking the path of any advancing North korean.
