I am trying to get most of my CAD over here cheaply. We can meet at a coffee shop, you bring the Korean Won and ill use my laptop and do an e mail interac transfer from my Canadian Bank to your Canadian Bank. Looking to exchange around $5500 CAD.

Just do a bank wire. IF you don't have the ability to make the transfer on-line (canadian bank outward foreign remittance) then send your bank branch (where the account is held and your signature card is on file) a notarized letter authorizing the transfer of funds. No problem.

You're only talking about 1% ($55 on 5500) for the difference in rates (unless of course your offer is not legit - then make your best pitch).

Yea I know it sounds sketchy but think about it. Show up to starbucks, bring some cash, you can watch me log into my bank send you the money, you open your e mail and accept the confirmation e mail. Done. Worth a shot if I can save like $80. I hate paying for things if I know there is an alternative.
