How much are the PS4's in Korea?
Debating whether or not to buy one in US and bring it over or just get one in Korea.
How does the online multiplayer work for Korean bought PS4s? Would I be able to play my buddies in the US online or does it restrict access by geographic location. |

| I saw one in Emart the other day for about 500'000won. If you buy US games - which is easy enough online - and sign in with an American PSN account, your online experience will be the same as those actually in the US except for bad ping times being overseas. |

You get it by registering your home address, or friend's, or whatever. $ony just wants your 50 bucks for the ps plus account. Anyway, when you play, the lag can be annoying, and a lot of people don't want to play with you in an online game as they think that your connection is slow, even though it isn't. The people whom I've played with that were showing 1 or 2 bars from the US or Canada ended up having a comparable connection to mine and the lag wasn't that bad...must say I've pleaded with some by saying, "Hit the X button, dammit!" just to get em to play.
Anyway, OP, it does NOT restrict your ability to play with friends from back home. Add em, and invite em. You need the ps plus account in order to play online. It also allows you 2 free games monthly...some of the games offered are decent - personally think it's worth the 50.
Regarding where to purchase it, I'd say the US will likely be a bit cheaper. |

| Buy here. I got mine from Yongsan electronics market for 480,000. Games are region free so no worries about that. Only problem with buying the Korean version is if you have an American PSN account and a Korean game you can't download the DLC from the american PSN. You will have to get it from the Korean PSN. Games here are also cheaper. Picked up a few newly released games for 54,000. You also won't need an A/C adapter with a Korean PS4. |

| so lets assume a FPS game comes out with new maps to download for multiplayer, I wouldn not be able to? |

As Fastforward said, you can, but it would have to be downloaded from your korean psn account if it's a korean game. Other option is to do digital downloads if you're not worried about having a physical copy of the game or want to resell it. |

you must be confused on what buy/sell means. no one is offering anything to buy or sell here, they are having a general discussion about the pricing of the ps4... |
