Hi,

Unfortunately i work for EPIK, fortunately i won't be in 3 months time.

At the end of the contract i have to purchase my air ticket home and they reimburse me before i leave, thats fine. The thing is they say that i can only buy a ticket for the 20th August but my Alien card expires on the 18th August. My question is, will i be alright to stay in the country for the 2 days after my card has expired or do i have to leave before the card expires. Myself, i think that i have to leave before but im not to sure.

if u have to leave on the 20th and they wont negotiate with u, like most koreans, then go to immigration and tell them u need a week extention and tell them why, exactly what u typed on this form and they wont have a problem giving u one for a week

and make sure u take ur ticket and ARC with u to immigration

Take your ticket, passport and ID card to immigration, pay your fee and get an extension. Very simple. If you don't, when it is time to exit the country, you could have problems.

Typical EPIK way of doing things....

Yes, DON'T take overstaying your visa lightly-Korean immigration won't. What I'd do is calmly but firmly ask your powers that be this simple question:"Why the *^$! can't I get a ticket for the 18th?!"
