Hakwons use air con more than public school?

Students do seem to get the summer kamgis after the aircon gets turned on. To answer the question, yes hagwons do seem more liberal and allow you to turn it on a lot earlier. Their customers are paying tuition after all and if min-su complains to mom that he can't study because alphabet hagwon is too hot, there's a good chance she'll send him somewhere else.

Yeah, you dont hear that Air-Con is bad for you anymore, once in a blue moon. My place is all about the air con and big fans. Good for alien voices with the kids!

I still think its not as bad as the U.S., man my folks blast it! Ha.

First thing I do when I walk into my classroom is set the air-con to 18 and put it on full blast. Keep it that way for the entire class. No complaints.
