I'm just wondering about how long you can stay in the country once you're alien registration card expires? Mine expires Aug 8th but I'm extending until October. Then I'm planning to leave and come immediately on a visitors visa because my fiance is here and we're having our baby in December in Korea, I'm just wondering will I have a problem getting back in here or should it be ok. I'm a worrier!

From what I understand, there is no grace period. When your ARC expires, you must already be gone. If you are still here, you will probably be fined, even if it's just one day.

Also, if you're going to get such a big extension (from August 8 to October), you will need to show that you are working until October. In October, before your ARC expires, you should be able to get another extension to tie up loose ends before you leave Korea, but not for that long. But when your ARC expires, and you don't have an extension, you must be gone.
