Uh oh, can't get my weight down.
I don't see that this topic has been covered for a while.
Any where good to find men's size 42 inch pants.
I tried the Dootah building in Dongdaemon, no luck. All the big size import shops have moved somewhere else.
I usually don't shop at Itaewon because I don't need the hip-hop style, I need something I can wear to work (with shirt and tie). Does Itaewon have more conservative clothes?
Thanks for any ideas! |

Why not get some tailored? Will fit perfectly and you don't have to waste your time looking for big pants. |

Have you tried those department stores? They have bigger sizes in some things; but not sure if you can find 42 or not? They might order; but will be expensive. You can order business casual attire on line. LL Bean, Eddie Bauer, stuff like that. But, if it's a suit, you can get a taylor to make one custom made.
Amazon or Amazon Global too. But if they won't ship here, you might have to ship it to a relative back home and get them to ship it over here for you and then visit a taylor to shorten anything that's too long. I'm thinking Dockers or something like that.
Good luck. |

Drew! Go on a diet dude! Stop eating and drinking so much you fat git!
If that fails, then just go to any dept store, try on a suit, if it doesn't fit
they'll make one for no extra cost. |

Not everyone is a stickman, some snappy little fucker weighing in at 160lbs and if I remember the sight of most of you over there, you would struggle to get into size 42 ins jeans. |

A mystery, why pies are so hard to find in Korea, is solved.
Who ate all the pies? |

When it's hotter than hell for 4 months a year, you tend to just want to stay in your cubicle with the air con cranked. Not knowing what to eat either doesn't help. My first year in Korea, my weight shot up too because of this. I've gone up and down since then.
Also a lot of the gyms here suck and it takes a while to find a good one. I found one eventually with a generous air con policy (and no idiots opening all the windows). Much more expensive than other gyms, but with better equipment, different demographic of people, and two sets of dumbells (which is key here) it's really worth it.
Anyways, some minor weight training and getting yourself up to 90 minutes of cardio 5 or 6 days a week will burn that weight off quickly. (I'm currently doing this as I've gone up a bit the past year or so.) Good luck. |

Just buy off of eBay or some on-line retailer and have it shipped to your a family member or friend back home. Have them ship it over to you. It's worth the extra postage to get stuff you'll actually use. |

You can find them easily at Costco.
[WARNING: some honest opinion that you may not like to hear will follow]
I've always found most ESL teachers here not large but Walmart large.
Size 42 pants are not common because quite simply, it is not common to make oneself that obese.
Homer Simpsons said "Food goes in here".
A lack of self control and personal concern about one's help just screams at you when you see people of this size, let alone size 42 pants. |
