my head is spinning.
I just finished a year with YBM ECC. What a rat race, but I made it out unscathed.
If I choose a small hakwon (wanting to move away from the corporate ones) will they promise less teaching hours than working at YBM ECC? Talking to my former co-workers, chances are high of getting a more manageable job in terms of hours.
Also considering non-ECC schools which are still run by YBM (LIA, PSA, Pine, etc.) Anyone know anything about the work demands at these places? Similar to ECCs? |

I thought you worked less there. Most hakwons are 30 hours a week. They are 28.5 or something like that?
There's after school programs. There's rural EPIK which can be chill, but with lots of deskwarming however. (Also, understand some rural areas can have a small pack of waygooks that can either be cool or a bunch of either immature or gossiping retards. So, beware of that angle too.) |

ECC was so much work. Ive heard other YBM hagwons are actually (usually) more manageable and enjoyable than the ECCs., but I wouldnt know. Hence me seeking out the other YBM veterans |
