Hi,

I was in Korea in 2012 as a student and back then even a 0exp qualification person like myself could expect around 2.0-2.2, accommodation, insurance, pension and return flights.

I'm now applying and my recruiter has told me that flights are now 1-way as standard, has much else changed? The idea I want to be saving a bit of money out there to bring back home with me, is this still an option?

As a en-GB speaker (no experience etc also) my recruiter has also told me that I'm most likely limited to jobs in Gyeonggi-do, will this affect things much?

There are still lots of jobs with return flights - especially in Gyeonggi (Bundang, Suwon, etc).

2.1 + benefits is still pretty common for a newbie.

I suggest you start talking to more recruiters.

Yea 1 way is becoming more common. If they are going to pay only 1 flight make sure it is your flight there and it is payed within the first couple months. If you are from the UK you wont be getting that pension money back.
