Yeah, after 2 seconds watching, I realised why you put the 'learn' in quotation marks

On one of them she interviews some American guy on the phone who has called her to tell her what a good teacher she is....she asks him why he watches her videos and you can tell he's trying to come up with a reason which isn't...."To look at your boobs."

Personally though whenever I need to know what the weather was like in Jeju the day before....it does come in pretty handy.

I was under the impression that Jessica grew up in the US, and was a native English speaker. But around the 15 minute mark, she makes some English errors that indicate that English might not be her first language. Maybe her English isn't as native-like as I thought it would be.

No idea...to be honest I had never heard of her up till a day or two ago....it was one of my "recommended" channels due to my "TTMIK" channel subscription. I don't think she's a native English speaker though...unless she's just fallen into some bad habits.

Her bio says she was born, and grew up in California. Maybe she went to Korea in her early teens. Don't know.

Wait, so is this this woman's full time job?

She appears to upload videos every day, but the view counts are so low...is it just a hobby?

Oh, haha, that's who she is? Guess she's pretty liquid then.

Though, in that case, I'm surprised the views aren't higher.

It looks like it originally airs live on afreeca. You earn income from users who 'pay' while the stream is happening, rather than ads like youtube.

I guess Korean singers/celebrities don't make 'huge' money. Just 'big' money, enough for a comfy life, but not enough to go nuts on. Otherwise, I don't imagine her doing these 'lessons' if she were way north of 7 figures.

They don't get any song writing royalties, not many people actually buy music these days and their marketing costs, clothes, makeup, plastic surgery etc..outgoings must be vast. Then they only get a ninth of what's left. If it wasn't for all the 'live'/lip synching performances/cultural promotion trips, they'd probably be on around the same as Simon and Martina

Yeah, I wonder how she got those 'blisters' on her lips?

In England, we call it 'herpes'....

Such a shame that an amazing musical talent such as her has to demean herself and do what is basically G-rated live internet sex cam. I have heard that musicians and movie stars here are under a lot of pressure because they don't make Hollywood type money but the public expects them to have Hollywood type lifestyles. The salary from a movie won't even cover the cost of a high end car, for example.
