Hello everyone, I have looked throughout the forum the best I can, and I cannot find an answer to this question anywhere. If there is and I somehow overlooked it please don't flame me for it, and simply let me know the answer (if you would be so kind) or direct me to the thread where it is it would be more than appreciated.

Right now I am in Korea on the H1 Working Holiday Visa, but want to find a job teaching English. I am from the USA, and want to know if it is possible to change from the H1 to the E2 in order to do this.

The reason why I think it might be possible is because the documents I used to get the H1 are the same documents that are needed to get the E2 (minus sponsorship of a school), and therefore again, is it possible to change from the H1 to the E2? Yes? Straight up no? Gotta get all my docs again? Would be an epic pain, because I know you can just extend your E2 for another year without getting all your docs again, so being able to change seems logically like it should work seeing how its the same docs and I was in Korea the whole time.
