I am planning on starting a pretty intensive online MA and was curious if anyone can suggest ANTY institutions that offer such arrangements. I know they are far and few between.

I know Wallstreet Institute does for CELTA holders. Sadly I only have a TESOL cert.

Odds are you won't have much luck. For part time gigs, it's easier to just hire an F-series visa.

You could apply to colleges and universities in the sticks that might take you based on the BA, some experience, and the fact that you've started your MA, particularly if the MA is in a teaching related dicipline. I've known a load of people over the years who have knocked out their MA while working at a university.

In 5 years living and working in South Korea I've seen less than 10. As mentioned above it's easier to hire an F visa holder.

Maybe look at After School Roles, they are normally 6 hours or less a day.

You will rarely see them advertised because most places want to hire a full time teacher. Still, if you write to the places advertising for full time teachers, and try to negotiate a part time schedule, you should be able to find something. Just remember though, negotiating means giving a bit. You'll probably have to pass on flight and accommodations. Or if you do get an apartment from the school then you'll probably take an equal or larger hit in terms of salary. If you're not flexible and willing to give then you're not likely to find any offers.

I must disagree a bit with the previous posters. There are a number of part time positions available for non-F visa holders.

Go on to craigslist and take a look there. Some don't specify what kind of visa you must have, however some do. Some will sponsor your E-2 depending on the situation. If they don't state what kind of visa apply and ask if they will sponsor you.

Not all F-visa holders want to take part time jobs at peak hours for average to above average pay. F-visa holders want to max out their salary as best they can as they have a lot more flexibility, which leaves some employers looking for employees for part time work at the peak hours of 3-6 during the week, for example.

Having said all of that be prepared to take a job that does not give any benefits whatsoever. You will have to organize everything yourself regarding housing. If you are registered foreigner this will then mean you have to get your own health insurance as well. There likely won't be any severance pay at the end of the contract.

It's possible but will take a bit of time to find one that is suitable for you and then negotiating of "benefits."

One thing that I didn't mention before. If you can do a visa transfer and you're already here then you will have a lot better success at finding a place that will sponsor you. If it's just a matter of transferring your existing visa and ARC then there is very little paperwork involved for the school owner. So, that's something to keep in mind while job hunting (and possibly also while negotiating).

Doesn't E2 sponsor require a full time job? An E2 who already has sponsorship can add a part time job, but I was under the impression that the primary sponsor needed to be a full time position.

There are several posted on KoreaBridge.net every week. They don't always advertise that they are willing to sponsor an E-2, but every one that I have asked will sponsor. I am currently working a part-time job in Busan that sponsors my E-2 visa and allows me to get a 2nd job - and I interviewed with 3 other schools that were willing to do the same.
