20000? A comparative drop in the ocean. Let's hope it stays that way and the 20000 on student visas don't get any bright ideas. We have enough racists here without adding any more frome exotic locales. |

Back to the original topic of Korea being hellish or not. I found it fascinating, but didn't stay for too long. And a big reason I left is the stress/misery a great many Koreans seemed to be suffering was getting me down. But I seem to think about Korea more than Japan (where I lived for much longer) and Hong Kong (where I was far more recently). I wrote this because I found this aspects of Korea shocking:
