Most anti-depressants are things like SSRI's etc...they will not test for it. You'll be fine. |

Definitely wear long sleeves. You'll have to take your shirt off for the chest x-ray. If someone asks about the scars, just say they're a work injury from years ago..."the barbed wire often springs back when you're putting up fences, and the cuts accumulated over the years" or whatever story you can concoct. Anyone who is familiar with farming knows scars are a part of it, and I'm sure there are other dangerous work environments. Make your story and stick to it. |

Assuming you cut yourself on your arms - ALWAYS wear long sleeve T-shirts, never show your scars to any Korean...
You will be judged and you will be 'labelled' |
I agree and would like to add to never show your scars to any co-worker, Korean or foreign. Foreign teachers are just as bad to gossip as the Koreans are, and sometimes people in a workplace will try to make their co-workers look bad in order to elevate their imaginary rank in the imaginary pecking order. People from less populated countries with Little Man's Syndrome may also use such gossip fodder because of their obsessive one-sided contest with the more populated neighboring country. |
