Considering the author claims to have painted a "Dokdo is Korea" stamp that is now widely available in the US and there is absolutely no mention of that anywhere else on the Internet, I'm going with scam.

Of course it's a joke. Some of you guys are every bit as gullible as the Korea Times.

Can you even work at the same university in Korea for twelve years?
