They are among the best players aged 14, or over, I believe, that get recruited onto the teams. If they are really really good, they could possibly be making over 100 million-won a year. But they do get replaced often. So if you want to really make bank, you'd have to keep up the 'training' for like a decade. Like half of my boy students want to be 'pro-gamers'.
Also, there have been foreigners on these teams, but considering the best are often teens, it's pretty rare their parents would let them go overseas to make a few bucks. |

The two ages I found were 19 and 29.
But yeah, some of them are middle or early high school for sure. |

OKAY WAIT.
They are gamers, not the engineers that design the Galaxy phones? Am I right on this? Or are they the design team that works for Samsung that design the Galaxy phones? Which is it?

They're the gamers for the Samsung Galaxy White pro-gaming (*note League of Legends in the URL...which you also put in the thread title...where is the confusion here?) team. In Korea the teams have corporate brand names, just like the baseball teams.

You're right, I have actually heard of Legends and all the money the guys make, but someone posted that picture in a thread about Galaxy phones on another site, so I was fooled into thinking that these were the software and hardware developers that produced the Galaxy. |
