Daerim station has some authentic Chinese restaurants. At least it seems authentic. I only ever see Chinese people in there and the dishes are pretty funky tasting. |
Is that good funk or bad funk? Are we talking James Brown or Jamiroquai? |
Good funk I guess. My Chinese friends go to Daerim for some dish called maratang. Stuff tastes wild.
I think I prefer Koreanized Chinese food and Americanized Chinese food.
If y'all never been to Daerim, it's worth looking in to. Huge Chinese population living there.

I could go for some Korean grub or Chinese or Thai or Vietnamese or Mexican or Italian or French, right about now. Kinda hungry. Guess I'll wait till tomorrow and eat the usual slop I cook. |

Milk is a disgusting beverage. Cheese may be divine, but milk is awful. Also, people over the age of like, 13, should not drink milk except as an additive to tea or in cooking. |
What about body builders? |
Okay, fair point. Osteoporosis prevention too I guess. |
I drink milk. I avoided milk all my life, but I started drinking it with whey protein since I moved to Korea. I didn't take whey either before I came to Korea, because meat is so cheap in North America compared to Korea. I lift weights, and I feel good when I drink milk with whey. |

Even the tapwater is good! I'm drinking it out of this Fanta bottle that I saved and it has this very slight citrusy flavour. Mmm.

You need to chill out and learn to enjoy the simple things in life. |
Sorry but adults drinking milk is akin to grown men wearing shorts to work, chewing bubble gum, drinking from a straw while at a table, sugary cereals, playing checkers or tic-tac-toe, bringing a mitt to a baseball game, sandals away from the beach, not wearing a belt, using a pencil instead of a pen for office work, chewing a pencil, drinking rum and cokes over whiskey (unlesd for concealment purposes), and popsicles (unless dunked in beer). Theres just certain things a grown man moves past and certainly doesnt enjoy in public. |
A buddy of mine doesn't drink alcohol, but likes milk with most his meal. He does MMA, makes serious bank and has an insanely hot girlfriend. Maybe I could introduce you to him and you can explain how you're more of a man than him because he drinks milk.
Oh and btw, bodybuilders don't drink milk. |

I've been drinking milk almost every day for over 5 decades. I've never had a problem with it.
I'm sure it's much healthier than eating Korean cup ramen or rotten cabbage. |

Who told you bodybuilders don't drink milk? I know a number of pros that do. Maybe not during contest prep, but off-season, for sure. |

Good for him. We all know "that guy", and I said for training purposes, I get it.
But milk is a foul beverage. Stop suckling at a cow's tit. Stop chewing gum. 30 is not the new 20. And stay off my lawn! |

Obviously, they are not allergic to it. I mistakenly assumed people would grasp that jist of 'don't drink milk'. 'bodybuilders', drink water by the gallons, but never met one who promoted milk. |

If you think for training purposes, you get nothing. And with an idiotic blanket judgement about people who drink it, 'good for him' as a response is about what I'd expect you to respond with. |

well, you take take what Arnold says here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXOGS9cilKM ... but he was joking. Milk, for many bodybuilders, is simply a tool. In fact, I can't think of any food that bodybuilders won't eat - they simply have to weigh it (in the macros sense) against their needs.
Ronnie Coleman was notorious to eating two heaping plates of french fries at a time. |
