That's complete horseshit. As another poster stated, your posts rely heavily on comparisons to the U.S. and it's usually YOU who starts the comparison ball rolling. Which you know because you then proceed to defend such comparisons.

Really, I think HS would be believing that people who are complaining about things here aren't in some way comparing it to back home. It is all over most of the bash posts. If you can't realize that it is the bashers who start with and engage in the most comparisons to "back home" then you are just lying to yourself.

Anyways this whole recent trend of "Stop comparing Korea to back home" is the result of bashers repeatedly comparing Korea to back home, then having their arguments weakened when other people compare Korea to back home and it doesn't support their conclusions, and searching for a way to win the argument (rather than seeking the truth) they say "Stop comparing Korea to back home".

If you're upset at people comparing Korea to back home, stop comparing Korea to back home!

More horseshit.

It's not the result of bashers making comparisons or that comparisons weaken anyone's arguments. It's that they don't address the problem.

For example, no one needed to make any comparisons to show how far-fetched your apologies for the the captain of the Sewol were/are.

SR: Man, you just ran into me after running that red light. My leg's going to be in a cast for two months, and I may have a limp for the rest of the life.

Motorist: Don't sweat it man. In Eritrea, it's much worse, 48.4 deaths per 100,00 inhabitants. You should thank your lucky kimchi you're on the ROK.

SR: Blah, blah, blah, timeline, my bad.

It's like how bums in the US take out their anger on everyone walking by, while bums in KR sit quietly with their heads bowed and allow you to give money if you feel like it. After all, their problems do not give them the right to take it out on innocent people.

Where are you from in the US and what experience do you have with 'bums' outside of kangnam, bro?

Just goto any major US city (LA, NY) vs Seoul, obviously the US homeless tend toward aggressive prickish behavior, while the KR ones politely put a piece of paper on your lap on the subway and try to disturb you as little as possible. Just because you are poor doesn't mean you can't conduct yourself in an honorable way.

It illustrates very different ways of thinking about things. Frankly, it would be much better if all the losers in the USA who kill people (including cops) would just kill themselves. No guts for that though...

Again, just answer the questions instead of beating around the bush and deflecting.

That's his MO. Beating around the bush and deflecting. Just let him do it. It makes him feel good.
