perhaps I've had one too many to drink but the bottom line is that were it not for the redeeming qualities of Korean females, I believe most foreign males would have long ago thrown in the towel and abandoned Korea to its own devices.
Were it not for the Korean females that have been so kind and affectionate, I would have long ago given up on Korea myself.
Despite the fact that many older Korean males are not particularly pleasant people to deal with, the females of this country really do make it worthwhile to tolerate and work hard to overcome the BS created by many Korean older males.
I will be the first to admit attraction to Korean females could be a compelling reason to continue to live and work here, advocating for meaningful change while enjoying the company of otherwise disenfranchised Koreans. |
That is just god damn sad to read. You really are charisma man from the comics.
Gets no play back home from females, comes to Asia and gets attention from females for the first time in your life, so you ended up staying. Basically you hate everything about the country, but you know if you go back up, you'll end up alone. |

I don't think he is saying that at all.
It seems more that he can stomach the bigotry from the older male generation thanks to personal relationships (romantic or otherwise) he has made with Korean women.
Also the line about LBH needs to die a death, this is Korea not Thailand or Cambodia. Women in this country are not throwing themselves at you for your money or passport.
Plus I doubt there is more than a handful of foreign guys in Korea who have no ability to find partners back home. It is not like getting a girlfriend in any country is that difficult. |

I didn't realize how ironic this post was intended to be until you posted it out. |

Why can't she just say eff you to the record company and release her own solo album with another company? That's what an artist would do in the west, unless she has no talent to begin with. What is this, 1940's and 1950's Hollywood where the companies own you?
Anyhow, she should launch a fan boycott blog of them or something.
Otherwise though, I really don't care about K - POP. I'll only respect folks who write their own music even if I don't like the music they're putting out.
But, otherwise, why are we even talking about this? |

A desirable one, that's a different story. Not everyone is into selfish angry fatties. |

And the point for this? You must be an old-school Korean guy.
FWIW, she's hot either way... |

I think you're confusing prejudice with fact again. It is of no concern to me how many women get plastic surgery in Korea or elsewhere but I'm pretty sure statistics confirm facial cosmetic surgery at least is more common in Korea than anywhere else in the world.
