What are the sites? I signed up for UBlove but 99% of the girls don't seem to have logged on in years.

I know i-um.com is a popular site but I can't register for it yet without korean id.

Any other ideas?

As many successful guys will tell you, the best place is somewhere unexpected. Grocery store, park, sports club......when women have their BS radar off.
That means the worst places are bars, online sites, clubs, etc...

I think sites are a good way to meet people. At least people are being upfront with what they want and who they are.

I would say the #1 best way is being introduced through someone else.

The first two usernames in this thread are highly apt, considering the topic.

CJ you are awesome.

Cave Dweller, who is actually upfront about anything in dating period? It's rare.

Go to meetup.com and join a bunch of meet up groups in your area. Meet someone there but make sure she doesnt take u for a ride too.

Or like said before, go to a mall/shopping center, emart, etc Approach a girl, make her laugh, from that point you have 30 seconds to get her to agree to a date with you. Anything after 30 seconds and her bullshit meter will begin to go off and you blew your chance.

I'd like to point out that this is Korea, people don't approach and talk to strangers. If you are a Westerner I suppose they might be more understanding that you don't know about basic manners.

Imma go ahead and disagree with your insult here as well as pretty much your entire comment. If you are talking about the older generation, yeah they are the type who dont approach and talk to strangers. However the newer generations think with a more open minded aspect.

Although there may be a few of the newer generation who follow that style, most dont. Dont generalize an entire race, when its not remotely close to the truth.

Maybe if you are hanging out in Itaewon, but even then...

That's why I like to send photos of my junk before meeting up. Saves any potential embarrassment later.

In person or online. I think Seoul is prob most open minded. Out in the provices seems until very very recetly chicks would look down at their watch and see age 28 and friek out and get married for the sake of doing so. Still a lot of social pressure out here and a recipe for an unhappy marriage later on.

That said, online can be good to cut through the crap as lots of women here don't wear wedding rings and you don't know what's what. But if a chick is staring you up and down, she's prob going to be into you no matter what you say. I found it was more common in the west though does happen here too.

As for the sites though, I hate that they are all geared to folks living in Seoul. I suspect there would be more on Korean language sites but don't know how to register.

I had heard immigration was suppose to be having folks sign up for another type of number that masks the alien ID and the Korean citizen number for going onto sites. Anyone tried that option and has it worked?

I use phone apps for online dating. The ones I use are Skout, Badoo, Meet Me, and OK Cupid.

If I am contacting someone on that site, I am being upfront that I am looking for a girlfriend. Not like the whole 'let's do language exchange' or 'I want to meet international friends' schtick that no one buys. On a dating site, if you are over 20 you're expecting to get into someone's pants.

Just date a lady that doesn't know the difference between inches and centimetres.
