As Edmund Blackadder once said on talking to yourself,

"Its the only way I can be sure of intelligent conversation"........

I talk to myself a fair bit. I have also found that this is a good way to practice my Korean too. I make up situations where I would want to use Korean and try it out. Lets me know what vocabulary I need to learn and grammer too. I tell me my student to practice conversations in English too by themselves.

What bothers me is when I don't listen.

What was that again, Zed?

It has just never occurred to me to talk to myself. Either I lack imagination, or I'm frightfully sane.

Sure, I talk to myself Monday thru Friday from 2:30- 8:30. Isn't that what teaching at a Hogwan is all about?

Yes.

I talk to myself in two situations:

1. Foreign language practice. Especially when I am riding my bike I love to practice foreign languages. But I usually do it under my breath unless no one else is around.

2. When I get really tired, but have tons of stuff to do and can't focus anymore... you know "Speech, print it, OHP sheets, okay, marker pens, red and black".
