There used to be a thread on Dave's called the "Freakiest Waygook Contest".... but it got deleted. So sad. So many entertaining stories in that thread, lost forever.

That thread was removed. That stuff was too funny to delete. Dave probably keeps it in his private collection.

I can't remember if it was this website or another expat forum but the weirdest thread that I recall was by a foreign teacher who thought that the k-government was spying on her and secretly exposing her to some sort of brain wave device while she was in her apartment. That was a few years back though.

I worked with a man in Korea who thought the same thing.

I know a guy. A GUY, who usually just wears the same underwear for 2 weeks straight. After he has sex he throws them bad boys right back on Immediately, so the smell can absorb into the fabric.

He says when he approaches women he flaps the front of his pants so she can get a nice wiff of what's to come. if she doesnt want any part of it then thats ok but surprisingly, the saved up pheromones from other women, demonstrates his value on a subconscious level, so he actually gets laid very often and now hes selling the smells he collects as colognes. I would DEFINITELY suggest trying this out you guys.....

Well, considering the amount of bacteria that is in crotch area of your jeans after wearing them for only two days, I shudder to think of the amount in his underwear.

Im surprised his cock hasnt dropped off, and the women hes slept with must have a lot of bacterial vaginosis - nice.

I'm seeing a lot of stolkholmed waygooks recently who recruit for their hagwons, and are total dicks about it.
Totally possessive and rude, making sure their hagwon boss gets maximum profit and doesn't have to pay a recruiter. I've seen some with hangul tattoos and one guy was on 1.7 salary. Totally odd. Don't realize theyre getting used....just weird. I can spot them almost instantly now, the stolkholmed waygooks who call other Westerners "foreigners" like they are Korean! Now thats creepy!

Several years ago I worked at a summer camp with some other foreigners. One older guy was accused of being too friendly with the kids by another foreigner toward the end of the camp and things got ugly. Most of the foreigners who worked there were fine, but a few of them were pretty ****** up individuals.

Have you ever worked with a creepy coworker? There tends to be a lot of creepy teachers in South Korea.

Just a quick story.

I worked with a teacher who loved to bounce his students on his knee. The kids were also calling him uncle, and the drapes were always closed when he was teaching kindergarten. His classroom was dark as well. He would talk baby gibberish with his children. Shocked

When we would go out he would tell Korean women that he thought they were pretty (yebbuda). He never got any numbers. Laughing

Sitting on his knee or his crotch? If it's the knee bouncing up and down, kids love that sh!t. If it's sitting on the crotch; that's pedo. I bounced kids on the knee in a room full of other kids and adults. They giggled and tee heed the morning away. Nothing wrong with it, but the darkened room, well, that's another can of worms.

I think there's also a difference between whether the teacher is saying "Come here, kiddos!" or if the students are trying to sit in his lap.

For the record, they all came up to me. Na Doo Yo. Me too. In my case the edge of the knee was as far they got even if they wanted to sit on my lap. Cause, otherwise, I'd feel too creeped out. I think any westerner with any common sense would play a bit with the kids, but show some restraint and avoid being alone in a room with them, especially if it was only one or two of them.
