I find it interesting that foreigners here love talking about diseases that don't exist in Itaewon (like ebola) but are all quiet when something is posted about the spread of diseases that really are there.

Jeju girls spend a lot of time diving for shellfish in cool clean saltwater. Washes away all the microbes.

How do you hear about stuff like that? I would think most people would keep something like that to themselves, unless they were alerting a potential partner to the fact, which I hope they have the decency to do.

Is Herpes the name of a new bar on the hill? Wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.

I have friends in the medical profession in Itaewon who service foreigners. They say there is a lot more STDs than ever before.

Ok, then I think the answer to your original question is that people are not having the decency to let their partners know that they have the gift that keeps on giving.
